Since 2009, the humble letter has been honored at Letters of Note website, an online museum of correspondence. Shaun Usher founded it and continues to run it. The first Letters of Note, which was crowdfunded by Unbound and published by Canongate for trade in 2013, received glowing reviews and went on to become an international bestseller. In 2015, a second volume was released. The first six books in an ambitious new series of themed they were released in 2020. Each was accompanied by an abundance of voice talent-packed audiobooks. In 2021, the next six titles will be released. Letters Live, an ongoing series of live shows inspired by them in which talented performers bring some of these letters to life in memorable venues worldwide, debuted in 2013. In December of that year, 200 people attended the first event at London's Tabernacle.
