About Lava Rubber
It is an honor for Lava Rubber to work with Island Slipper. The collaboration slippers are constructed in Oahu, Hawaii, adhering to their upcycled and made in USA standards. Lava Rubber pledge to recycle waste into new materials and return all manufacturing scraps to New Jersey. Each pair prevents one pound of scrap from going to waste. They refer to them as slippahs or "slippers. " they do not wear them in-house and they are not fuzzy. Slippers are used for fishing, cleaning gutters, chasing children, and walking dogs. They can be used for work, play, hiking, shopping, gatherings, and meetings. Island Slipper they've never worn slippers or sandals so comfortable. The bottoms are rigid enough to feel like a supportive shoe, and the low-key appearance of recycled rubber still serves as a conversation starter.
