About 7Witches
In 1998, 7Witches signed a record handle Massacre Records after releasing a demo CD. Vocalist Bobby Lucas appeared on Massacre's first two CDs, Second War in Heaven and City of Lost Souls. Lucas co-wrote Frost's lyrics and came up with the band's name. In 2000, Lucas left the band and was replaced by Wade Black, a former Crimson Glory singer. The band recorded Xiled to Infinity and One, their third studio album, with Black on vocals. Black left 7Witches band in 2002 and was replaced by James Rivera (Helstar). In 2002, bass guitarist Billy Mez also left the band to join Single Bullet Theory. Joey Vera, who previously played in Anthrax and Armored Saint, took his place. Passage to the Other Side and Year of the Witch were Rivera's two albums with the band. In 2005, he left the band to focus on his main project, Helstar.
