About Kurtz Corral
The horses were raised on his Kurtz Corral farm and brought to the bullring to cool off and in the mid-1960s, he decided to run a "pony circle" on his farm. They raised and trained most of the horses on the farm. In 1972, Jimmy bought the company from his grandfather, continued to run the stables, and added more activities and rides. In 1978, the farm on Howard Lane was sold. This is the home of Jimmy's great-grandfather. His mother's father was born in a cabin part, which is now part of the property's main residence. Jimmy bought it, started a major renovation of it, and started driving herds. The corral occupies 140 acres but also uses adjacent land, including a piece of woodland in Kurtz Corral, allowing more than 500 acres of land for off-road vehicles.
