To shoot 4K (oversample) with an open gate resolution of 4096x2644 without cropping in on the sensor, use in-sensor scaling. Lenses, not cameras, should be used to determine what format to shoot in, which is why the MAVO Edge can shoot in FF, S35, and S16. To maximize versatility, select FF 8k, S35, or S16 from the menu. Within each sensor, additional in-sensor scaling options are available.
