Until 1981, he left the company and founded Joe Colby Pizza, Pizza Kit to raise money Hundreds of hours of research and fundraising research perfected unique pizza recipes, and then Joe Colby's Pizza Wholesale Company was founded in 1983. When Joe Colby started the business, he simply made pizza crusts and sold them to local markets, bars, VFW, and places outside their stores.
