About ISM Saddles
The idea for ISM Saddles came from Steve Toll, a bike and swimmer from Tampa, Florida. After enduring yet another agonizing ride with his wife Laura in the dead of winter 1997, Steve sketched out a design for a seat he hoped would alleviate, if not completely eliminate, the suffering experienced by most cyclists when using a conventional bike saddle. In 1999, with his loved ones help, he was able to secure a patent for the idea. That patent is a big deal because the saddle industry hasn't seen much innovation in decades. Many Ironman champions, Olympic medalists, Road Racing podium finishers, and countless age group champions have credited their success to riding in ISM Saddles seats.
