About IPA
IPA was established on January 1, 1950. Its purpose was to serve Servo per Amikeco (through friendship service) through the motto of Esperanto , and Arthur Troop became the first secretary general of the British branch. The New Zealand branch of IPA was established in May 1966 and was admitted as the 40th branch in September 1966. To help keep New Zealand safe, they adopted a new way to contact the police with non-emergency situations: dial 105 or go online and click on the photo above. They also welcome retired police officers who have settled in New Zealand. The International Police Association (the company) is a friendship organization that provides learning, travel and leisure benefits to serving and retired police officers. The International Police Association is an independent institution composed of active or retired police officers, regardless of rank, gender, race, color, language or religion.
