About Gvrr
Gvrr is a family-friendly attraction where visitors can travel along the historic Cotton Belt Route in authentic 1920s Victorian train coaches. Gvrr delight of the thousands of visitors who board the Grapevine Vintage Railroad each year, the train runs for ten months out of the year. Train rides are only stopped for annual train inspections and track maintenance in January and February. Every Saturday and Sunday from March to June, visitors can take train rides. Additionally, trains will operate every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the months of June, July, and August by the time summer arrives at the depot. The team prepares the railroad for the most important and beloved event of the year, the North Pole Express, as the year winds down and the days get shorter. As part of Texas's Christmas Capital, this family-friendly excursion must be seen. In honor of the joyous season, trains operate on most weekends in November and December.
