About Everett Railroad
The new Everett Railroad was located in cressburg, pa. , on the seven-mile line between Booksmill and spool, pa. Champion residential and common refractories are two clients that want to restore rail service. Working with these companies, Everett restored the former Conrail track and began operating as needed. In 1985, Everett Railroad leased the nearby Morrisons Cove Railroad, a seven-mile stretch that served the fertile "Cove" area of Blair county, including roaring spring, the martinsburg and Cooliville communities. With this expansion, it became a key link in local agriculture and dairy production, serving three feed mills and a major paper mill. In 1995, sister Holliday fort merged with the roaring spring railroad company (H&RS) and expanded again. The company bought Conrail's "bay two" line of ten miles. The purchase linked the operations of Everett and morrisons bay to today's 23-mile network.
