Located on the upper west side, as the multi-disciplinary performing arts centre offers courses in literature, music, drama, film, dance and family entertainment, Symphony Space wanted to be recognized as a cultural leader nationally and internationally. In keeping with its founding principles, Symphony Space is dedicated to building and fostering relationships with existing and emerging artists, encouraging innovation and excellence as a cornerstone of all presentation and production, fostering a creative environment that attracts and inspires artists and audiences of all ages. It’s mission is to serve as a center for excellence in the multidisciplinary performing arts. It aims to provide artistic leadership and promote innovation, excellence, participation, and accessibility for artists and audiences.
