About Effectiveness Institute
Effectiveness Institute is a group of experts in team performance who specialize in training and consulting. Their goal is to improve professional relationships and establish and maintain high-performance cultures within their client organizations. The capacity of diverse individuals to collaborate is critical to the success or failure of any business. They must provide and receive feedback, resolve conflicts, advance ideas, be trustworthy, inspire others, and manage their own and others' emotions. Performance is maximized when these individuals are dedicated to a common goal and treat one another with trust and respect. In 1980, Dr. Tom Champoux and Dr. Bill Maynard established Effectiveness Institute. Both of them worked together at Cleveland High School in the Seattle School District in the late 1960s and early 1970s as inner-city educators. At the time, Cleveland was a nightmare for educators everywhere.
