Babydog Services is led by eight fantastic trainers who use positive reinforcement and rewards-based training to teach obedience, socialization, and behavior: Dave Tomey, Emma Cilliers, Karin Waugh, Alysha Ewing, Rebecca Brook, and Tara Savrtka are among the participants. Since their merger in 2018, BabyDog and TomeyK9 Services now operate all of their programs together as a happy family. Ellie-May, Dave's dog, sparked his interest in working in dog training. He socialized and trained her from a young age, but after sustaining a serious leg injury, he had to start all of her training all over again. He also worked extensively with Ellie as part of his certification program and adapted conventional methods to tailor his training to her injury.
