Cypress Bend Vineyards authoritatively opened its entryways in late June of 2005. Following four years of developing 35 sections of land of the Muscadine (Vitis Rotundifolia) assortment grapes (also called Scuppernong), Dan and Tina Smith chose to impart their energy for these grapes to general society. Developing the muscadine cultivars - - Carlos, Noble and Magnolia. They are taking the muscadine grape higher than ever in their sixteen muscadine table wines. Their wide assortment of wine additionally incorporates Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The land which Cypress Bend Vineyards calls home, is saturated with rich history, went down through the ages starting around 1807. The delightful homestead land, known as "Riverton," was found by a Scottish couple, Reverend Daniel White and their significant other Catherine Campbell White.
