About Colony 13
Colony 13 first opened in Brainerd on June 1, 1976, and its 200th anniversary theme has had a lasting impact. When this store opened its doors for the first time, it was a store specializing in early American furniture. The shopkeepers (Rodney and Susan Bass) even put a replica Betsy Rose banner outside. After moving to the North Gate shopping center many years ago, the second generation now starts to run this boutique and jewelry store! The Baths are very satisfied with their business. Rodney personally designed the logo of this store, and their youngest son Jeff seemed willing to inherit the family tradition. Unsurprisingly, Colony 13 has evolved over the years and now has many brands. These brands seem to be very popular with customers. The variety of goods in this shop makes it the first choice gift shop for every special occasion.
