Ticket sales will begin on December 1. Sailing shows have a long history in Seattle, dating back about 60 years. BOATS AFLOAT SHOW Knowing that since Seattle ’s first famous sailing show set sail in 1947, Seattle ’s sailing shows have traditionally occupied some of Emerald City ’s most famous venues, including the former Seattle Center Stadium and Kindom, Qwest Field Convention Center, and Shilshole Bay Dock and Chandler Bay in the South Lake Union. This is the largest exhibition on the West Coast, attracting visitors from all over the country.
