About Church Hill Inn
Church Hill Inn was designed with the needs of its guests in mind. Church Hill Inn has open, spacious areas throughout thanks to a distinctive architectural design that eliminates the feeling of a hotel corridor. Throughout the inn, there are four common areas with fireplaces where guests can read, solve a puzzle, play games, or sip a beverage by the fire. The inn, which was built in 1986, used to have a restaurant called Winston's, which is now the breakfast dining room. However, in 1987, the restaurant was closed to the public in order to maintain guests' privacy. The name they was chosen because the inn is on the Sister Bay hill next to the church. However, the English innkeeper's influence has also led to subtle and not-so-subtle allusions to Winston Churchill. From May to November, the American-made London Taxi is parked in front. As an experiment to replace Checker Cabs, approximately 90 of the well-known black taxis were manufactured in the United States.
