About Norfolk Arms
Welcome to Norfolk Arms, where you'll find cozy log fires, stunning views, cask ales, and home-cooked food prepared by Mike and his friendly staff. Their amazing location, near Sheffield and the Peak District National Park, makes their Grade II-listed bar, hotel, and wedding venue the ideal complement. Norfolk Arms was a pub with beer and beds for tired travelers on the Sheffield-Buxton turnpike road, built in the remote Peak District village of Ringinglow in the early nineteenth century. The travelers would continue their journey after refueling with food, drink, and sleep and after paying their fees at the nearby Roundhouse roll booth. They serves a similar function by providing mouthwatering home-cooked food for families enjoying a day in the country and rehydrating walkers, cyclists, and climbers with real ale.
