Founded in the summer of 2011, 123 Farm aims to inspire a new generation of children to become stewards of healthy communities by learning about the natural world around them. Its activities focus on providing rich food, entertainment and health knowledge. Farm camp participants are encouraged to present their expertise in agriculture. 123 Farm staff will explore links that may not be known in nature, such as the importance of pollinators, the use of pesticides and the impact of diet on health. During the last two days of the farm, the customer can spend a lot of time harvesting the produce from the field and then cooking and eating what was harvested in the full cooking class.
