About Wcra
The genuine trains, locomotives, and equipment that are a part of the railway history and heritage of British Columbia can be seen, heard, touched, and used here at the Wcra museum. This railway machinery was crucial in BC and Canada's development. Enjoy unlimited rides on their BC-21 Budd Rail Diesel vehicle, Track Speeders, and Mini-Rail Train. One of 65 Hudson-type 4-6-4 steam locomotives constructed for the CPR by Montreal Locomotive Works, 2860 is the jewel of their collection. The first engine in this series, with serial numbers 2800 to 2864, was delivered in 1929. In June 1940, Wcra engine 2860 was finished. Visit the CN Roundhouse to see this amazing locomotive.
