About Slingerland
In 1960, the first whole classroom adaptation of the Orton Gillingham 1 to 1 method, they revolutionized literacy instruction. Since then, thousands of teachers have received their training and have taught thousands of students to read well. Any general education classroom can benefit from the multisensory, structured language Slingerland, which is especially effective for struggling readers e. G, dyslexic, ELL, or other language barriers. Slingerland is adaptable to the majority of school materials and can be used across an entire educational curriculum, not just reading and writing instruction. Effective methods for classroom management and also meaningful parent communications are discussed during training.
