Tera Farm is a California nonprofit whose mission is to support small farmers while helping them connect with the food they eat. It operates in the San Francisco Bay Area, connecting farms in the Salinas Valley with consumers in Silicon Valley. Its "farm-to-community" services help farmers sell directly to communities near them. Tera Farm provides farmers with the establishment and operation of an online store at no cost. Its volunteers manage pickup locations, are known as community sites and help with marketing and e-commerce platforms. All produce is local, organic, packaged on the farm and delivered to the community Saturday morning. They don't grow, harvest, pack or ship produce. These are all done by farmers by helping farmers by providing digital platforms, technology, marketing, customer service, and more.
