Lovey bought the casitas and fell in love with Taos Lodging in 1994. The property underwent renovations, and as a result, each casita gained its own unique charm. The first guests became friends and returned year after year to the property to refresh their spirits. Lovey still lives on the property and serves as the property's full-time concierge, providing recommendations for local favorite restaurants and sights to see. Christy Lovey, her husband Ron, and two wonderful granddaughters, Emma and Cameron, moved to Taos in 2006 to take part in the family business. Elijah, a 15-year-old boy, joined their family in 2013 and can frequently be seen hard at work on the property. While you are staying at their Lodging, the entire family will greet you by cleaning, tending to the grounds, petting the dogs, and making every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
