About Bracken Court
Bracken Court is proud to be in the center of Balbriggan, North County Dublin, where Balbriggan is located. Since 1898, this is where a hotel has been. In 1898, the Hamilton Arms Hotel was built on the spot where Bracken Court is now. Mary and Charles Graham ran it, and it was known as the Hamilton Arms until 1933. The hotel was sold to Mary Rooney in 1933 and remained known as the Central Hotel until 1939. The hotel changed hands several times and was renamed several times between 1939 and 1954 before finally being purchased by Patrick Reilly. Patrick purchased the adjacent structure in 1962 and expanded the hotel. Their Hotel is part of the Moriarty Group and is owned and operated by Luke Moriarty. At that time, the hotel was known as The Grand Hotel, and it remained that way until 1989, when a new owner took over. Since its opening in 2000, the hotel has grown steadily.
