About Strange Matter Coffee
A bakery and coffee shop in Lansing, Michigan. In the beginning, they operated as a coffee stand in the Allen Street Farmers Market on the Eastside. In 2014, they opened their first small shop, which only had twenty seats and four employees. Since then, they now have over twenty employees, two locations, and Strange Matter Coffee own bakery. Cara Nader came up with the idea for Strange Matter Coffee with the help of more people than can be listed. Cara has worked as a manager, trainer, regional barista competitor, and Great Lakes Barista Guild Chapter Representative in the coffee industry for more than a decade. Cara has experienced coffee all over the world and would love nothing more than for Lansing residents to be able to do the same.
