Star Wine was established in 1993 and is owned and operated by "Two Allen" Alan Short and Alan Glass. They met while dating their respective wives, Suzanne and Beth, who have been friends since elementary school. As their friendship deepened, so did their mutual interest in wine. Many weekends are spent tasting and enjoying wines from all over the world and their fantasy of owning a retail wine shop became a reality.
