Gold River Distillery is the first legal winery in Sacramento County since Prohibition. They are a small winery located in northern California just outside of Sacramento. Gold River Distillery handcrafted stills are one gallon small batch, side mounted column stills with gin and vodka columns. In the summer before they started production, the stills were designed and built almost entirely by their founder and distillery Greg Bowman.
