Nguyen Le, who has more than ten years of experience in raising betta and guppies as well as designing aquascapes for freshwater aquariums, launched Splashyfishstore in 2020 before the pandemic. Prior to starting Splashy Fish, Nguyen raised bettas and guppies as a pastime, selling them to neighbors and shipping them to customers outside of the state to recoup some of the expense of breeding. They provide informational articles with an emphasis on beginner guides for setting up and maintaining aquariums at advanced levels with care instructions for certain fish species. They hope that by sharing this information, their customers will be better equipped to raise happy, healthy fish. Splashyfishstore will continue to grow, and they're hoping to create a YouTube channel where they can show their customers all the information in person.
