About Shoe Talk
Hello. Their name is Nicola, and they're a second-generation shoemaker whose passion is footwear. Both the shoe shop and the family factory were full of shoes when they was a child. Shoe Talk used to make boxes, put shoe fronts together, cut leather, glue socks to shoes, sew, and do everything else in the factory to earn a living. Shoe Talk also learned a lot about shoe design and how shoes need to be made to be fashionable and comfortable from spending a lot of time watching their father make shoes. Owing to the removal of footwear import tariffs; Since there is less footwear produced in New Zealand in true Kiwi sizes, shoe shopping has become a nightmare for many of them. Because the shoe box was the only thing that would fit them in most footwear stores, they found that their collection of trendy, modern, wide-fitting, comfortable shoes was getting smaller.
