Throughout 12 distinct counties in New York State, including Allegany, Cayuga, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates, Section V Athletics oversees and coordinates interscholastic sporting activities. The New York State Public High School Athletic Association accepts Section V as a member. Acting as executive director is Kathy Hoyt.
