Locals call it the best place in the world and Schooners the nearest local beach club. They come early and play volleyball all day long, watching kids play in the waves or just watching the waves roll in. The Schooners menu is not fancy, just the perfect casual "beach food", fresh and flavorful with a friendly smile and magnificent views! It’s a local tradition to gather on the beach behind the caravans every night to celebrate the sunset - the crowds are as numerous that just as the sun falls below the horizon, they blow up an old cannon and the real fun begins! The band started early, so people started dancing before the sun went down, and they stayed until early in the morning. It’s at the historic eastern end of Panama City beach, right on the beach.
