About Salsa Latina
Salsa Latina is a popular social dance form that originated in Cuba. But it was not called Salsa until it was listed in New York. Salsa dance moves are combined with African-Cuban dances "Son", "Chacha", "Mambo", "Rumba" and "Dansang". In the mid-1970s, this kind of dance and salsa music got a major development in New York. Different regions of Latin America and the United States have their own unique styles of salsa such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, Cali Columbia, Los Angeles and New York. Salsa Latina usually held in nightclubs, bars, dance halls, restaurants and outdoors, especially during outdoor festivals.
