Runcoach joined the Nike Farm Team, an Olympic Development team headquartered at Stanford University, in 1995 after receiving their degree from Penn State. Jeff Johnson, Nike's first employee, served as the team's coach. Their training philosophy was straightforward: You must train to your present level of fitness in order to reach your full potential.
