If you don't believe them, Riderbag story begins with humble beginnings: That is, a car struck Gonzalo, their founder. After a typical workday, he rode his motorcycle home for the typical commute. When Gonzalo heard the brakes squealing behind him as he approached the final stop sign on his route, he was less than a mile from his home. The next thing he knew, he was lying on the ground in front of his bike, and the driver was walking up to look at the damage. Gonzalo came to a realization as he gathered his thoughts: Riderbag had reflective material on his helmet and jacket, but his laptop bag was all black, making him almost impossible to see at night. Gonzalo had been fortunate: In preparation for the stop sign, the driver had already slowed down.
