The name Punch Tavern was given to this historic location in the 1840s in honor of the regular drinkers from the nearby Punch magazine. Punch Tavern was a 19th-century Gin Palace. The enormous main bar and back dining room of the recently renovated can be reserved for private events while yet retaining much of its original vintage charm. Gin and whisky lovers will be in heaven at the bar, which also offers a fantastic selection of craft beer, cask ale, and a finely chosen wine list.
