About Psapp
Carim Clasmann and Galia Durant form the band Psapp. They are two pals who enjoy writing pop tunes using unusual noises and creating instruments. The song always comes first on Psapp. It rules. But as you listen more and more, layers start to pop out at you. For example, an organ turns out to be a layer of ambient recordings that have been expertly constructed into a musical instrument. What once appeared to be a drum set is a collection of bicycle parts, bones, logs, and log clicks. On bar four, is that a crushed fly? Nearly likely. Depending on how closely you listen, you can also hear the songs differently; a loud blast on headphones reveals the expertly orchestrated craziness in all its glory.
