Anja, the creator of Our Gabled Home and she's so happy you stopped by. Unbeknownst to them at the time, their grandparents' sometimes quaint way of life was a significant source of inspiration for them as they grew up in Germany. They moved to Northern California in 1996. They live in a beautiful Victorian shingle-style home built in 1910 with gables. Their biggest fan is their handy, handsome husband. Although their sons are now young adults, they adored the entire parenting journey. They attended a school that taught students how to make organic food from scratch and how to make crafts. Both of them knit socks. When they're not cooking or making things, you can usually find them on a mat teaching or practising yoga, hiking with their dog in the hills, riding a horse, or looking at fish in the deep sea.
