About Organic Meat
Organic Meat is actually a small family-run business in County Laois, run from Coolanowle Organic Farm that is situated in south county Laois Close to the Carlow border. Having converted the farm to organic in 2001 the Mulhalls began selling organic meats produced on-farm at farmers' markets around Ireland in 2004. Run through the owner, Jimmy Mulhall, his son Eddie and 4 full-time butchers. A new meat production or processing facility and meat outlet are just currently open to the public at Coolanowle.
