They began in January 2012, having returned to California inspired and prepared to create. The initial few years began slowly; selling their creations to friends, then exhibiting their small collection of candles, mala necklaces, and other beaded jewelry at farmers markets and pop-ups. Their friends Noon Designs and they opened their first physical store in Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, in May 2014. Often Wander developed their team, online store, wholesale business, and numerous candle and jewelry collections into what they are today in that location. Often Wander second physical location in San Francisco's Mission District opened its doors in September 2018, after years of anticipation. Having a store on San Francisco's well-known Valencia Street was always a goal of mine, and they are beyond happy to be here.
