About Nebraska Marathon
Nebraska Marathon was founded in 2014 by the father and son team of Joe and Ryan Sutter of Omaha, Nebraska and was designed to provide a unique and exciting race experience for runners across the United States! Their first-ever marathon was held on Sunday, October 18, 2015, with nearly 900 runners finishing in Turner Park at Midtown Crossing and crossing the finish line at Lewis and Clark Landing. Nebraska Marathon has partnered with the Pediatric Cancer Action Network. As the official charity partner of the race they are pleased to announce that they have donated $27,000 and counting to PCAN since the race began! They attribute the success of the race to the Omaha Police Department as well as local businesses and sponsors and countless volunteers and make this scenic race unforgettable for runners.
