In 1981, Morty Taylor founded Morty's on the corner of King Street and University Avenue. At that time, this bar seated 76 people, and it quickly became a comfortable place to go. On July 27, 2000, they moved to their present position. Morty's has no budget, so the previous day's big operation, their family, friends, staff and loyal customers grabbed the table and chairs and walked to the street for about 300 steps.Since their current location (272 King Street North), They have hosted millions of guests, prepared tens of millions of chicken wings and the Kitchener-Waterloo community has always been in one place and feels at home. They are proud of many unique homemade foods on the menu, like everyday soup, panzerottis, pizza, 10 ounce burgers, lasagna, and of course chicken wings. They have been working hard to bring customers an unforgettable and fun experience through delicious food and service.
