About Metal Clay
In the mid-1990s, the count from Paragon Kiln found a store in Aida, Japan. Earl was so excited to show the product of Metal Clay to his furnace dealer. They all had a good time and figured out how to burn new clay! At that time, the price of silver was $ 5 per ounce, so clay was not that expensive. Therefore, New Mexico Clay began selling the product at Metal Clay as the dawn of the Internet (Art Clay website in August 2001). At some point, Aida stopped selling clay to Paragon, and they switched from Mitsubishi in Japan to PMC and became the website. They are clays in Albuquerque, New Mexico that have been associated with metallic clays from the beginning.
