About Malone Guitars
As part of Nikita Gale's work 63/22, which was on display at the London Frieze art fair, they recently wrote about how they ended up making five amazing guitars for BMW. Malone Guitars will talk more about each guitar and how they made it over the next few weeks, starting with "Lynn, " which may have been the most difficult to make. Henri von Freyberg and Karl Johannson, two brilliant designers who created the stunning interior of the new BMW I7 electric car, sketched the design for this guitar. In the initial sketch (below), it was shown completely covered in fabric. It is based on BMW's love of soft interior shapes and luxurious fabrics. The first of many unanswered questions was presented by this. Malone Guitars has made a few guitars with a fabric top, similar to Fender's paisley telecasters.
