Established in the fall of 2005, San Japan is a fan-run organization that provides an annual animation convention focused on. They provide high-quality entertainment and education while creating a safe and fun environment for all attendees. They are committed to cultivating the acceptance and appreciation of South Texas animation and related fans. The first three-day conference was held in San Antonio, Texas from August 8th to 10th, 2008.
