Lovebot reaffirms that they all enjoy the privilege of being human and are not constrained by the algorithms and programming of their technologically oriented counterparts. Even though many of them work like robots in concrete jungles, they can all be kind to one another every day. The Love Invasion began as a grassroots initiative in Toronto that involved the deployment of 100 backyard-made, hand-cast concrete sculptures that stood 2 feet tall. Each sculpture was dedicated to a person or group that performed a significant act of kindness in their community. These one-of-a-kind and meaningful social objects were placed in the paths of pedestrians. The objective is to highlight the city's compassion and kindness and motivate more people.
