louvino was founded in 2014 by drugstore-turned-restaurant founders Chad and Lauren Coulter. Coulters started out in 2011 with a popular "Paint and Sip" business in Louisville that saw a surge in wine sales. When looking at restaurants and bars in Louisville, kurtas noticed that there was not a single significant player in the wine business. After developing the overall concept and meeting with current culinary director Tavis Rockwell, louvino opened his first restaurant in highland in July 2014. Two more locations opened IN 2016 (Douglass Hills and Fishers, IN). Oveno’s menu includes many shareable plates heavily influenced by the south and Kurt's native Georgia. The menu changes in half about every 2 months to ensure they use seasonal and fresh ingredients. Each location allows the executive chef to use his culinary imagination to create his own seasonal section of the menu. Therefore, each location has its own unique menu.
