Anderson's two separate papers started working as one organization in 1949, distributing the Anderson Envoy, established as a week by week in 1868, AM, and the Anderson Day to day Notice in the early evening. Beginning on April 5, 1987, the two publications were merged into one morning publication, heraldbulletin, following their sale to Ingersoll Publications. In the year 1990, Ingersoll sold the paper to Thomson Corporation; Thomson sold it to CNHI in the year 2000.
