Green Bottle Press is a small independent publishing house dedicated to poetry books that should not only appeal to readers with fresh language, form and themes, but also be objects of beauty. Publishers work with poets to create books that fit the form and length of their poetry—if the work requires something different, they won't be bound by standard page sizes or book lengths. It is its attempt to give unpublished poets a beautiful book and exposure in a poetry market that sometimes seems to cater to the already well-known. It wants to publish work that is unusual and worthy of representation, but may not attract more established media.
