Eastern Leaves was born in 2014 as a personal project by Zhang Weiwei and Lorenzo when they purchased their first tea forest in Nannuo Mountain, Yunnan. The first year marks the beginning of their passion for flavour: eight years later, their forests are thriving, they have opened a sister company in Milan, Europe, while their personal base is still in Yunnan, and their daughters are in different children. Growing up between cultures, it's a pleasure to share her hilarious times with them. The story of Eastern Leaves begins on the top of the mountain where they fell in love at first sight, a mountain named Nannuo. This first land is far from the inhabited center and will be developed for intensive agriculture.
