About Dot Seven Ranch
Just 10 miles to the north of the centre of Sanger is where you'll find the Dot Seven Ranch, nestled in the gentle hills of Eastern Fresno County. The ranch may be found slightly below the level at which the oak trees grow, and it features an easy landscape with mild rolling hills. The winters are not particularly cold, in contrast to the extremely hot summers. The most of the time, there is an enough amount of rainfall to encourage the growth of tall native grass that can be used to graze cattle. In most cases, the cattle on Dot Seven Ranch get all the nutrition they need from the native grass, and the only time they consume hay made from alfalfa is during the few months of winter. The beginning of the calving season occurs in the early fall.
